I got a pair of these Selenium D210Ti's to upgrade my JRX 112m monitors. First I encountered that because this driver is larger in diameter than the stock JBL HF driver, it would interfere with the handle housing on the top of the 112m monitor. Then I removed the handle housing just to do some test. I immediately can tell the high end is more pronounced. But in some instruments, the HF actually sounds too pronounced, to a point of being unrealistic. I think I can resolve this issue by bi-amp'ing, but probably not for a while.
This driver sounds great, and if integrated properly, will result in a very good sounding 2-way or 3-way speaker.

I swapped out the D200 for these! I have to admit that I am very pleased! I think that these crossover at 2K better than the D200's. These cost about $10 more but that is a small price to pay for a nice improvement! My reccomendation is to use this one (D210) for a 2-way system crossed at 1.6K/18db or 2K/12db. Use the D210 if you are designing a 3-way crossed at 3K/12db or higher. If you have the money forget about both of these and move on to a 2 inch Selenium driver!

I attached it to a 12" and it sounds great; way better than the suggested tweeter. I used a 2K crossover and it seems to have done the job.

I use this in a stage monitor with two JBL 2118's. Handles the power and keeps up with deaf lead singers. Excellent product. I like it better than other drivers in it's price range, as well a couple higher priced 1"'s. At the current low price, I would just go ahead and buy a couple.

I was very surprised how clean and powerful they sound, very efficient. I would consider replacing your cheaper drivers with this one in any of the less expensive PA cabinets.

This replaced a horn driver in a JBL JRX115 cabinet with this one. I replaced the driver, put sound deadening material on the back of the horns, and removed the passive crossover - converting the cabs to bi-amp. Each step I compared to the stock cab, and the improvement was incredible with each step. The most improvement was replacing the driver. The deadening material (non asphalt, butyl rubber) nearly *eradicated* the honk, resonances, and ringing, significantly clearing up the top end from coloration & required less volume. Removing the passive crossover and converting to bi-amp with an active crossover was just icing on the cake - The drivers were much more controlled and lots of phase issues disappeared and the cabinet became crystal clear. In my opinion, the modified, bi-amp conversion of my JRX115's sound much better than an MRX 515, at almost half the cost.
My only complaint about the driver, are the spring loaded terminals. The spring is not as stiff as I would like, so thick gauge wire can slip off when re-installing the horns to the cabinets, and possibly if you set the cabinet down too hard and the wire are inserted from the bottom - I feel they may slip out.
Get a 4-pole (092-052) panel connector, replace the 1/4" jack on the JRX terminal cup with it (need to drill it out with a 7/8" bit), resolder some 10/12 guage wire to them, and remove that passive crossover and never look back.
For DJ work and sound re-enforcement for 100-500 people, this is a huge step up in terms of ineligibility and clarity, and and will make your use of power and headroom much more effective and comfortable.

I've tried a number of drivers in the $20-50 range, including other Selemium modles, and have usually been disapointed. These drivers are the exception. They sound great and do just what their specs say they should do. I just replaced a pair of vintage Altec-Lancing 511 horns with 808 drivers because this driver, with a $5.50 plastic horn, sounds better.

Bought this as a replacement driver for the horns in a JBL JRX115 which are notorious for blowing horn drivers. This one seems to work very well. Nice crisp highs and not too harsh. Much better than the stock JBL and the price is very good.

I was impressed with the quality of this driver for the price.I replaced a blown piezo tweeter with this and a cheap horn lense, added a crossover and L-pad, and it works nicely with a 12" speaker in my monitor. The sound is slightly sharp but nothing a little E.Q. adjustment couldn't cure. I can definately reccommend this driver as a replacement for cheap piezos.

I bought 3 of these as replacements for floor monitors in a club. With the rate that spilled beer was destroying the stock drivers, I needed a cheaper alternative. Sound quality wasn't the primary goal here, being able to hear a vocal over a metal band was. I didn't expect them to sound this good to be quite honest. I wouldn't use them for FOH, but they make a pretty good floor monitor

I just got a pair of these to replace the stock drivers in a pair of behringer F1220 monitors. What a difference it made. I may have to pull back the 2k on the eq slightly. They turned those cabs into a "in your face" monitor. Very loud and clean. For the price, these are awesome drivers.

I got one of these to replace a blown out driver on my JBL JRX100. Vast improvement over the stock driver. Sound quality and power handling are both much better. I'm fairly confident it will last longer as well, or at least as long as the original (about 4 years).

I built a pair of two way cabinets using these drivers and I must say that I am happy with their performance. They truly do deliver crisp, powerful and well articulated highs. I also like the fact that they have presence. I definitely look forward to using this driver in my other designs, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality driver at a great price.

Replaced the original 2412h drivers from my JRX115's (well known in the SR community for their honky sound). These Selenium drivers are very smooth from 1.6k to 18k and sound very good all the way to high SPL. I use the Jrx115's with the Jrx118s. The vocals sound good on sm58 mics, but the drivers sounds at their best with shure sm86 and sm87. I'll be installing the 16 ohm bolt on version of this driver on my Yamaha's S115V mains very soon (original yamaha 105 db at 1m - Selenium D220ti 16 ohms is 109 db at 1m).
Great product for its price.
PS. Somebody from Atlanta posted in the D210ti Bolt 8 ohm driver that he had installed it in his Yamaha S115 and it was TOO LOUD. That is because the S115 uses the 16 ohm driver (8 ohm twice as loud)

I used this driver in a three way cabinet crossed over at 3.5K. Very smooth high-end response, did not overpower the 8" sealed back mid or 12" woofer. Great vocal and cymbal reproduction does not break up under high power. I will use this driver again

Used these to replace the POS HF drivers in my JBL JRX115s. These are not the best sounding drivers but are a GREAT upgrade from the stock JBLs. No more HARSH sizzle from the horns. By far the best value in threaded drivers when bought at Parts Express!
