This is the top of the line jig if you want to cut out circles! I am not a pro and I have an old craftsman router, and this jig made circle cutting no problem!

I'm professional woodworker for 20 years now.
I'm building my first set of speakers when I came across the jasper jigs. I'm very impressed...very accurate.

The price seems a little high, but when I think about all the hole saw bits and forstner bits I have and doesn't even come close to having the size holes that the jasper jig offers.I could have save I pile of money.
I can see the jasper jig also helping me with building furniture and trim pieces as well.

This thing shorten my cutting time by more than half. It is so easy to use and works out great. My circles look great and everything was to the correct sizes using the jig.

Not much more to say that hasn't been said. This tool just plain works! With a little thought,,, it also helped me cut out an odd shaped speaker by using the round base to follow a pattern! Very nice!

I've used several jigs for circles but this thing has so many set points I shouldn't need any of those old jigs now. I'ts easy to duplicate holes for repeating projects later on. I don't have a plunge router and never have, but if you're good you don't need one. You just have to carefully lift the jig a little and sink it back down. That's probably not recommended, but it works fine for me.

First off the combo price is hard to resist, since I'm a newbie and needed to cut a 12" hole, I needed the big one (Model 200), consequently an extra $5 for both seemed like a great deal. Even though the 200 will go down to 2-1/4", the smaller one may be useful if working on smaller pieces.
In any event, worked great, easy to use, very accurate and mounted fine on my very old Craftsman router. The Jasper website is great to verify router dimensions. The model 200 has a very big center hole for larger bits which is useful for flush mounting.
The only drawback is the smaller one (Model 400, which I opened first) comes with a very short dowel. Since I was using 3/4" MDF, it didn't penetrate into the sacrifice piece and made finishing the cutout challenging. After completing the project, I noticed a longer one in the model 200 supplied hardware ... not sure why they don't include it in both.

Bought the Combo set but haven't opened the smaller template, and I doubt that I will ever need it. It make the best counterbores and circles when a carbide bit is used with a 2 hp router. What I find hard was the size labeling is on the side that is down to the workpeice and my X-ray vision doesn't work so well, I always questioned which hole I was really in, don't like being in the wrong hole - one only gets one chance per baffle. The size labeling should be on both sides.

Don't know how I have run my business without these tools! I have saved money and time using something that is so easy to use! 1st i will say i love this product. for $3 shipped it was about $20 cheaper than anywhere else. makes life so much easier for building my speaker boxes now. didn't need a plunge router like another review said. only downside was there is a circle piece of plexiglass for mounting that is hard to remove from the center- you'll see what imean when you buy it. highly recmmend this product.

This circle jig is easy to set up and there is almost no way you can make a mistake. No test cuts are necessary. The jig is on the money everytime. Great buy.
